2nd ISELED conference – new instalment following the successful premiere

One-day conference on current “digital LED” automotive lighting trends

Munich, 25 February 2019 – Following the successful and fully booked 2018 premiere, the 2nd ISELED conference will take place in Munich on 5 April 2019. After the innovative ISELED technology based on a truly “digital LED” by Inova Semiconductors was introduced at electronica 2016, the concept with a focus on system solutions – a comprehensive ecosystem – has gained enormous acceptance in the industry. One example of this is the ISELED Alliance (www.iseled.com). Having started out with five members, today more than 20 enterprises support ISELED technology as part of the alliance. The spectrum ranges from market leaders (semiconductor manufacturers and Tier 1 automotive suppliers) to specialized lighting solution providers. As a result, the entire value chain is covered to establish ISELED as a standard in the lighting industry.

At the 2nd ISELED conference, industry experts will discuss and present the latest trends in automotive lighting. Light is increasingly becoming a design element but is also taking over key functional tasks. In conjunction with displays, light is forming an integral part of innovative visualization concepts for highly automated and autonomous driving. ISELED reflects this trend too, as it develops from the original solution for interior lighting towards dynamic display LED backlighting, interactive car-human light communication, and even a new field bus (ISELED Communication Network) combining light, sensors and actuators.

All these aspects will be explained and “illuminated” at the 2nd ISELED conference in keynotes, talks and panel discussions. Members of the ISELED Alliance will also be presenting numerous products, from LEDs and microcontrollers to system solutions and the corresponding development tools.
