Smart Digital LEDs
The next generation of in-car lighting will typically comprise of 10 to 100 LEDs or more mounted on flexible light strips.
Each 'group' consists of one red, green and blue LED to form a 'pixel', which is then intelligently controlled by the ISELED smart RGB LED driver in the LED module, effectively replacing present solutions utilizing multiple microcontrollers and a relatively slow LIN bus.
Based on the ISELED technology, but with different features and dimensions, this multi-source offering opens various design options for lighting system developers.
Smart ISELED LED modules are available from different LED vendors such as Brightek (iCLed), CoAsia (CoSAL), Dominant (SeddLED),Everlight (Smartled), HARVATEK (Surface Mount LED), LEXTAR (SMD LED) or LITE-ON (SMD LED).
